I take pride in photographing the authenticity of families. Every season of life should be documented, and documented as true perspective.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY BUSINESS?
I couldn’t get my pay back to where it was while working at Target Pharmacy which was shortly after I had had my second child.
WHAT MAKES YOUR BUSINESS STAND OUT FROM COMPETITORS?
I do me. I feel that I have built my business on staying true to myself.
If your brand had a personality, how would you describe it?
Reverie Workshops for me has the best personality, and it has developed into women’s adventure club. We adventure and photograph at the same time. I have made the best friends from my workshops, which I formed out of my need to connect more with my following and with women.
Who are your business heros?
I love my friend Stormy Solis, she is an honest representation of an artist and business woman. I appreciate the energy of Erin Hottinger, that runs Hott Fittness in Hawaii, she shows me what it is like to encourage women.
I value the hard work my mother, Michelle, of Dust and Pan, she works harder than anyone I know and gives more than anyone I know.

Describe your dream client:
My dream client is someone who is down to create, appreciates my past work, and is up for creating something new.
what year was your first paid session and how much did you charge for it?
2012, $25.
describe the primary feeling/message you want your clients to experience when interacting with your business:
I want my clients to feel like they are chatting with an old friend, one they trust and can’t wait to see again.
how did you know when to “quit your day job” and go full-time with photography?
When God told me it was time to quit, he had other plans for me.
when did you feel like you “made it” as a photographer?
When I started to get requests to travel all over to photograph families, and when I was asked to teach other photographers.
what is one think you know now that you wish you knew when you started your business?
How to manage taxes.
What is your professional purpose?
To provide a service that has proven its worth for centuries. Pictures are something we all find extremely valuable, whether it is a snapshot or a professional photo, it has value.
what is your hardest task in running a small business?
Time management.
what is your favorite ice cream?
Cofee.
what is the one thing you’re most likely to end up in jail for?
Probably for murder, of a child predator that touched my child.
